Saint Laurent Paris - Womenswear Show Autumn/Winter 2015/16 in Paris with interviews

A wall of lights, a raised catwalk, and original music, the decor sets the scene for the autumn/winter 20145/16 collection by Saint Laurent who had a front row full of VIPs, in the Carreau du Temple, from Jessica Chastain to Salma Hayek.Hedi Slimane, opens the show by mixing a tutu mini-dress with a man’s jacket. A petite silhouette that we find throughout the show, with a variety of biker jackets, and spencers... Trouser leggings in leather are up next, then a dress which skims the buttocks, zipped, more radical and more rock. Ripped tights, little pointy boots, an ultra short asymmetrical silhouette, slits, red lips, and eyes outlined with a huge slick of eyeliner, the Saint Laurent “Bad Girl” storms the catwalk with confidence. Hedi Slimane, has the intelligence to create fashion for his time, contemporary, and wearable, that will influence the street once again. Pierre Bergé, defender of this new Saint Laurent is won over. Interviews: Pierre Bergé: I don’t know what he brings to Saint Laurent, but I know what he brings it to the fashion world. Everything else is unfashionable, it’s outdated, old and above all uninteresting.Only Hedi has a real feel for today’s world! He has an enormous talent, a sense of derision, and then the remarkable cuts, he has an extraordinary technique. Betty Catroux: What he did really couldn’t be any more beautiful, it’s a gift for the girls. Salma Hayek: He brings youth, rock and roll, in a chic way and he makes you feel like a rock star and I think everybody wants to feel like a rock star.I was embarrassed but I took my phone out, I had to take a picture! I’m sorry, but I get to be a fan too!Music from the show
