Saint Laurent Homme - Menswear Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 Show in Paris (with itw)

Highly anticipated as ever, the Saint Laurent collection by Hedi Slimane concludes the week of Menswear shows in Paris, with style and light thanks to an arty installation. One popular trend for next winter seen across the collections, figures also here: a stand-out coat that opens the show and reappears for the finale. The designer adds to this a choice of short jackets, from a teddy to a biker. The suit-and-tie is almost classic but always with an extra twist. Animal prints are inserted here and there, even on leather. The attitude of the Saint Laurent Man is still recognizable, with his hands in his pockets, black glasses and buckled boots. An evening look becomes shinier with the lamé, the studded jacket or one embroidered with fringes.Interview:Pierre Bergé:Hedi Slimane has worked with Saint Laurent and so he fully understands Saint Laurent and if you take a closer look, even within this room, there are not many people who have this precise knowledge but if you do look closely, you will find traces of Saint Laurent, they are there and then of course Hedi is Hedi, he adds his own creation.Music from the show
